A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear Parents,

Welcome to Mabel B. Wesley Elementary School. Our Faculty, students, and the administration have worked diligently in the preparation of our school handbook.  This handbook contains district policies and procedures that will be of great importance to you and to your child in preparing for the school year as well as a continued reminder throughout the year of the importance of developing a good working relationship with our school.

We believe that a very safe and inviting environment and frequent communication with parents will foster a very good working relationship among our students, teachers, parents, and the administration. Wesley has a long-standing history of high academic excellence. Together we will continue to achieve the high standards we have always maintained. Our faculty and staff are talented, devoted professional.  They take pride in the students and the community and will continue to ensure the academic success of each child.

We will frequently inform you in a timely manner of the many activities that will take place here at Wesley. Parental involvement is a proven factor in the success of students throughout their education.  The elementary years are crucial in the development of good work and study habits. Therefore, your support and participation in your child’s education is vital. We will address any questions or concerns to your child’s teacher.

Remember … together we WILL take Wesley’s students to new heights!
